Conference life can be pretty daring. Don’t get me wrong, I love org theory, like, love-love-love it. But three, four days in a row of nerdy science can be exhausting. So exhausting, in fact, that the only picture I took at the 27th EGOS Colloquium is the below boat in Gothenburg’s harbor.
One, two, three month fly by really, really quick. The Chair of Organization and Management (LOU, you know) got together only in September this year and already it’s Christmas. The holidays are a time to cut back on all the research and teaching, but that won’t last for long. We’ve got conference papers waiting to be finished so we get to go to EGOS (see y’all in Lisbon) and AoM (see y’all in Montreal, too). Those deadlines are mid-January, so it’s back to the writing room next week, the latest.
